The Blue Knights, an organization of law enforcement officers who share a passion for motorcycle riding and raising funds for charities, have formed Texas Chapter XXXIII which encompasses riders from Waller, Liberty, San Jacinto, Walker, Grimes and Montgomery counties. Chapter XXXIII invites and encourages members of law enforcement who enjoy motorcycle riding to join.
The Blue Knights are committed to promoting a positive image of law enforcement, motorcycling, and promoting a strong family unit through motorcycling as a sport.
Chapter XXXIII joins the existing 541 chapters and over 18,000 members from 24 countries in the enjoyment of motorcycle riding and raising money for charity with a keen interest in those charities related to children. The Blue Knights are known for their work for the Make a Wish Foundation, Toys for Tots, D.A.R.E., and the Concerns for Police Survivors (an organization assisting the families of law enforcement officers slain in the line of duty). In the preceeding four years, the Blue Knights chapters have contributed over five hundred thousand dollars in goods and merchandise and over four million dollars in cash donations
